LED recessed cans guide for kitchen If there are additional sources of light that will be used, the output lumens not watts from those sources can be deducted from the total. Assuming the need for a fairly uniformly lit space 35 lumens per sq ft, the cans may have to be spaced closer together – between 3 – 4 ft apart if all general lighting is provided by recessed lights.
Eyourlife 14 inch Led Light Bar FAST AND FURIOUS SAME STYLE Truck Light Bar Off Road Driving Light 4X4 ATV SUV Jeep 72W 12V 24V Description Wide operating voltage range: it can apply to different types of trucks, cars, and other vehicles.
For this, one requires a multimeter and the particular LED to be tested. Obtaining the voltage consumption of the LED will aid one in assessing the required battery life needed to sustain the circuit. Now, I will bring in their practical use. Although you can easily test an LED by connecting it to a circuit and seeing if it will light up, you can also use a multimeter with a diode test function to test an LED and discover a few more things about it too. Turn the dial to the diode symbol on the multimeter.
This allows for electric current to travel in one direction the arrow and not the other. Turn the multimeter on. Choose a regular red LED. Connect the red probe to the anode end of the LED. Make sure the steps above are followed accurately.

Direct fit LED daytime running lights also known as DRLs are aftermarket replacement assemblies that replace a factory bezel or light assembly for a subtle, yet noticeable improvement over stock that will leave others to wonder if it came from factory like that.
Facelifts and other upgrades are often made to production vehicles after they are released to the general public to fix certain issues, improve the look, or refresh the model look.
Classic LED light Pod Series NI06A Series for Your off road Driving Nilight NI06A series was designed to improve the brightness for all customers during the night off road driving.
It’s not that hard You have 3 options: Use a factory switch. Use an aftermarket switch. Make your own switch system. Factory switchMost of you will have a hotrod that uses a steering column that has a turn signal switch built in. What you need to do is find the wiring diagram for the vehicle the column came from. Just find it on the internet. It will show you which wire should go where Aftermarket switch Some of you will have a hotrod that doesn’t have a factory switch in the column.
The easiest way to add on turn signals without a factory switch is to use an aftermarket unit like these universal types: You can get them at places like Napa or here:
Fog lights are aptly named because they can save responsible drivers a ton of grief in low visibility conditions such as fog, snow, rain, or pitch black darkness. To be most effective, fog lights should be mounted in a location on the vehicle as low to the ground as possible. Once they’re turned on, the light they produce travels further and covers the surface of the road more clearly – allowing potholes to be detected sooner so blown tires can be avoided.
Fog lights illuminate dark edges of the road where headlights can’t. Fog is typically less dense closer to the ground. Because fog lights are mounted lower on the vehicle, they encounter less glare and can light the path ahead much further.

LED lights are a popular way of saving money in the home. They last for many hours, and a gently used light can last up to 25 years. Most LED lights are arranged so that they can run off of a 12v battery—in fact, 12v lights can cause a short when plugged directly into a socket, which usually have v current. This can be very dangerous, and so the best solution is to run these lights through a relay instead.
How hard is it to mount a light bar on the front of a Ram ? Owners weigh in on how to mount and power the popular new accessory. Advertisement There are several threads devoted to the LED light bar question on assorted Ram forums. Many of the questions sound like this one. I found a similar 20 inch one at rough country. An owner named KSH says he is planning to take one off his older truck to place on his new one. The hardest part was removing the tow hooks in order to mount the mounting bracket.
Those nuts on the back of the tow hooks are tough to break loose!
OK, we installed on a customers F a 20″ Rigid led light bar connected to upfitter 1 using supplied relay from rigid and triggering relay with upfitter. Two rigid spots on upfitter 2 5amps and interior bed leds low amps on upfitter 3. Towed to dealer and they could not find anything. Then the truck would occasionally and inconveniently not start. This went on for weeks and customer not happy with ford plus they could not find anything wrong because no codes were showing up.
Ford engineer comes in an points his little young inexperienced fingers at the led lights on the upfitter switches.
The Recon has scanning amber turn signals, red running, hazard, and brake lights, and white reverse lights. I was unable to find out if it was waterproof, but if installed right and sealed tight, water and moisture should not be able to get in. The plug and play feature is easy and will get your tailgate bar up and running in a matter of minutes. If you want to take the extra time to ensure everything is going to work the way it should, you can also choose to hardwire it into virtually any car, pickup truck, or SUV, as long as the measurements are correct.
This would definitely make me feel better about using them since some of the lights found on vehicles are not street legal. The only colored lights I want to see in my rearview mirror are the ones from my buddies truck, not the five-o. It is also the only one on the list that can work up to degrees and is ideal for off roading, which is something that I personally enjoy. With the ultra bright lights that will last longer than traditional bulbs, they will be easier to see, last longer, and will be the talk of the highway.
In this video were going to be walking you through the installation of a three-color led tailgate light bar. Now these lights while they’re DOT legal, but let’s face it the lenses are cloudy, their incandescent bulbs, and compared to today’s vehicles with full-on LED lighting these pale, literally, in comparison and you can do a lot better and it’s very easy to do. On each end is an amber strip for turn signals and in the middle is a large white strip of LEDs for backup lights.
Now, if your vehicle has the four wire plug, well its simple plug-and-play with the plug itself and a couple of other simple wires to hook up. If not the kit comes with the four wire plug that’s easily hardwired into your vehicle’s existing system. But, the best thing is that it’s a simple no-cut no drill installation using the provided self-adhesive strips.
Most only provide 5 meters because of the power they need to power up properly. So they try and sell you a cheap 12volt apadter used for each 5M strips but also the guys who sell them up to 20Metres does not mean you can use the entire length because the PCB traces might burn out caused by overloading them. You need to check with the seller how you can use them. The market is flooded with various makes and knock offs- so make sure you can get the specifications.
They were cold so I left them for another 30 minutes and still cold, so they could handle the extra power. Also there is no equipment to test that either. So instead of buying several small 12V adapters I go to the next best thing. A computer power supply! You can get really cheap ones like Watt and they can power up tens of strips with clean 12volt power, with short circuit protection and overload protection. Using a Computer PSU you are only interested in the yellow and black wires.
Here is a diagram showing the pinout computer PSU connectors. You need to realize you cannot just join all the yellows and use it as one. All the phases give the power supply its maximum peak rating.

Find a suitable mounting location that will allow for running wires and mounting the LED light s. Lay out and mark where the mounting holes will be positioned. Drill appropriate-sized hole s for the mounting hardware. Before starting to drill hole s , check behind locations to insure nothing will be damaged while drilling light mounting holes.
Mount the lights with the provided hardware, being sure not to over tighten the hardware you will need to adjust them in Step 7. Route the lighting side of the wiring harness from the battery to the light s in a safe, secure manner. Connect the harness to the light s. Be sure to avoid heat sources and any moving parts while running your wires. Prolonged chafing of the wires may lead to a short in the circuit. Typically, following the vehicle manufacturer’s wiring harness is a safe path to follow.
Continue to route the switch portion of the harness to the desired location of the switch.
